Structural Testing In order for Jormac to develop FAA approved strength allowables for our fittings, panels, tie rods and latches, we created our own structural test lab. The 20,000 lb capacity test machine uses a computer data acquisition to obtain load and stiffness values. These values are then statistically reduced into A-basis and B-basis allowables. To maximize the value of our test lab, we offer our services in test plan development and test data generation. Our on staff DAR's conform the specimens and our DER's witness the tests.  |
